A Maruti Alto car owned by Jayalal, a resident of Idayikkunnam, caught fire while in runinng and was completely destroyed.
The fire started from the car’s bonnet while it was being driven. Fire and Rescue Services from Kayamkulam quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the flames, but the car was entirely burned down by then. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
