Suspicion of having eaten arali flower; students hospitalized

Ernakulam: Yesterday Students admitted to medical college for treatment on suspicion of eating Arali flower. Two ninth class students of the high school sought treatment. At present their health condition is satisfactory.

In the morning, the children were experiencing headaches and vomiting. Following this, the teachers reached the primary health center with the children. It was clarified to the doctors here that the children had eaten Arali flower. From here, after primary treatment, the children were admitted to Govt hospital. By noon, the children’s parents arrived and admitted them to the private medical college in Kozhanchery.

Currently, the children are under observation in the ICU. Doctors say that health problems will not occur so quickly if you eat arali. Children are kept under observation to check for further health problems. The children’s blood samples have been sent for detailed testing.
