Wayanad: The CBI team investigating the death of Siddharth, a second year student of Pookod Veterinary College, has reached Wayanad. CBI team met Wayanad SP. A team under an SP rank officer from Delhi has reached Kerala. The CBI team met the Kalpatta DySP who is currently investigating the case in Kannur.
The CBI team reached Wayanad after the central government issued a notification for the CBI investigation. It is indicated that the investigation team was checking the files and looking for other information. There are also reports that two more officials will join the investigation team. The High Court had ordered that the central government should immediately issue a notification for a CBI investigation. After that the CBI team came to Wayanad.
