Kannur: Black flag protest by SFI activists against Governor Arif Mohammad Khan in Kannur. The SFI workers who showed black flag to the governor were taken into custody by the police. Then DYFI activists stopped the vehicle and dropped them off. This led to a scuffle with the police and activists.
The SFI activists showed the black flag to the Governor who landed at Mattannur and returned to Wayanad. SFI alleged that the district secretary was beaten up by the police during the protest. Last day, SFI workers showed black flag to the Governor in the capital too.
Went to Rajbhavan from the airport yesterday afternoon. AKG Center is near General Hospital Road. There was a black flag protest against the governor nearby. 14 SFI were arrested at two places.8 near AKG Center and 6 near General Hospital Pere was taken into custody
