The police arrested the husband who tried to beat his wife to death because of the decrease in dowry. Dileep, a native of Malayankeezhu, Thiruvananthapuram, was caught by the police. This is the second time that Dileep has been arrested by the police in the same case. Before this, the police had also arrested Dileep in a case of brutally beating his wife and recording the footage on his mobile phone. The beating took place again when he came back to stay with his wife after the completion of the punishment.
The reason for the violence was that the dowry had decreased. His wife’s complaint is that he tried to kill her by hitting her head against the wall. The complaint also says that Dileep was drunk. When the woman could not bear the beating, she lodged a complaint with the MalayanKeezhu police. A case of attempted murder has been registered against Dileep.
In the case two years ago, the beating was for going to work. Dileep himself circulated the footage of the young woman standing with blood all over her face.
