Idukki: Gym owner arrested for stabbing a young lawyer who came to work out at the gym. Lawyer Kaniyarakat Jeevan Prasad was stabbed on Tuesday night while he was working out at the gym. The conflict took place at the Fitness World Gym, which is located near Kattappana Old Bus Stand.
Earlier, the injured Jeevan and Fitness World owner Pramod had disputes regarding the timing of exercise. Jeevan Prasad reached there on Tuesday night demanding the refund of the money paid in advance. After a verbal argument, the accused took out a knife and stabbed him.
The youth was stabbed above the elbow in the attack. Due to the deep wound, the lungs were also injured. The police team reached the gym and took the accused into custody. After initial treatment at Kattappana private hospital, Jeevan was shifted to a hospital in Kottayam.
