Thelima Scheme: Opportunity to Correct Ration Card Errors from 15th

The Civil Supplies Department’s new “Thelima” scheme, aimed at correcting errors in ration cards and identifying individuals holding unauthorized priority cards, will commence on the 15th of this month and run until December 15.

Cardholders can now visit their local ration shops to correct errors, update details, and link Aadhaar numbers. This scheme will also provide an opportunity to amend any errors that arose when the Ration Card Management System (RCMS) was implemented. Special drop boxes will be placed in each ration shop for this purpose.

Complaints and applications can be submitted in drop boxes placed outside ration shops. Corrections in member details, including name, age, address, relationship to the cardholder, and employment information, can be made. Additionally, details regarding LPG and electricity connections can also be added. Applicants only need to drop their application, written on plain white paper along with necessary documents, into the designated boxes at the ration shops.
