The Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) is an international organization based in London, comprising legislative bodies from Commonwealth nations. The association includes around 180 democratic parliaments and regional assemblies from across the Commonwealth countries.
The CPA organizes annual conferences in various countries, and the 67th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference is being held in Sydney, Australia, from November 3 to 8. The majority of the conference sessions are taking place at the International Convention Centre in Sydney, hosted by the New South Wales Parliament.
The main goal of the association is to promote democracy, human rights, and good governance among member countries. Speaker Shamseer is accompanied by Additional Private Secretary Arjun S. Kumar at the conference.
