The wait to find out the winner of the ₹25 crore Thiruvonam Bumper Lottery will end soon, with the draw scheduled for today. The lottery draw will take place at 1:30 PM at Gorky Bhavan, with Kerala Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal overseeing the event. Additionally, the Pooja Bumper lottery will also be launched by the Finance Minister.
Out of the 8 million printed tickets, 7.2 million were sold by last evening, with sales continuing until just before the draw. Each ticket is priced at ₹500, and agents have offered substantial commission discounts to boost sales.
The first prize is a whopping ₹25 crore, while the second prize awards ₹2 crore each to 20 winners. The third prize offers ₹50 lakh each to 20 winners, among a total of nine prize categories. The total prize distribution amounts to ₹125.54 crore.
