Kochi: Kochi city police caught a young man and a woman with MDMA. Anthony Nelvin (28) native of Thrissur Aripalam at Veliparamp house, Iringalakuda native of Mankatil, MU at house. Ameesha (23) was arrested. 74 grams of MDMA kept for sale from the accused.
The accused were arrested after the police received a tip-off that drugs were being sold in lodge rooms on Amrita Hospital Road in Kunnumpur.
The accused were caught during a joint search conducted by Kochi City Dance Team and Cheranallur Police on the instructions of Kochi Deputy Police Commissioner KS Sudarshan. They were produced in court and remanded.
