UK Condemns Khalistan Terrorist Attack Attempt During Indian Foreign Minister’s Visit

The United Kingdom has strongly condemned the attempted terrorist attack during the visit of India’s External Affairs Minister. “Attempts to disrupt public events or intimidate individuals are completely unacceptable. Security personnel intervened promptly, and we are committed to ensuring the safety of diplomatic visitors to our country,” stated the UK Foreign Office.

The attack attempt took place as External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar was leaving an event at Chatham House in London. Khalistan terrorists staged a protest with Indian national flags and loudspeakers. As Jaishankar was getting into his car, the attackers rushed towards him, but security personnel swiftly intervened and prevented any harm. With no further security concerns, the minister continued his journey.

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs also strongly condemned the incident, stating that it is deplorable how separatist and extremist forces misuse democratic freedoms. The ministry expressed hope that authorities would fulfill their responsibilities in such situations.
