Action against TTE on complaint of Speaker AN Shamsir. Based on the complaint, Chief TTE GS Padmakumar was suspended. The Speaker had complained to the DRM that Padmakumar had behaved indecently.
The incident took place on July 30 at Vande Bharat. TTE had questioned that one person was traveling with the Speaker illegally. The Speaker’s office had clarified that no one had traveled illegally with the Speaker. The TTE questioned the fact that a friend who met the speaker during the journey came to speak. He said he would leave soon but was treated rudely. The Speaker’s office also said that the complaint was filed after the behavior continued even though he said he was the Speaker.
