Thiruvananthapuram: A turning point in the Vanchiyur shooting case. The woman doctor accused in the case filed a molestation complaint against Shini’s husband, Sujeeth, who was assaulted. The complaint is that Sujeeth sexually assaulted her by force. The police registered a case against Sujeeth on the complaint of the female doctor.
The accused had earlier stated that he had been friends with Sujeeth for years and had attacked Sujeeth’s wife Shini out of enmity over the end of their friendship. Later, a harassment complaint was filed against Sujeeth. The complaint says that the harassment took place when both of them were working together. According to the female doctor, the torture took place on the promise of marriage and after that Sujeeth went to Maldives. Based on the complaint, the police may question Sujeeth.
When Sujeeth was a PRO at a private medical college hospital in Kollam, he met and befriended the accused who worked there. It is said that the torture took place at this time. Eight months later, Sujeeth left for the Maldives. The accused had also stated that he planned to attack Sujith’s wife with an air gun because he felt that Sujith was trying to get rid of him. Sujeeth had also earlier admitted to the police that he was friends with the accused doctor.
