Violence again in the train; TTE beaten for questioning ticketless traveler in reservation coach

Again violence against TTE in the train. Vikram Kumar Meena, a native of TTE Rajasthan, was assaulted on Mangalore-Thiruvananthapuram Maveli Express. The incident happened around ten o’clock last night. Meena, who suffered a nose injury, is undergoing treatment at the hospital.

He was beaten up by a person who traveled in a reservation coach without a ticket. Vikram Kumar Meena stated that the beating was for questioning the ticketless journey. The assailant had only a general ticket.

He was boarding the sleeper coach with a general ticket. He was noticed by the TTE after the train left Kozhikode. Vikram Kumar said that the passenger was beaten up when he asked to get off the sleeper coach because he did not have enough tickets.

The attack took place near Tirur. The TTE was attacked while the passengers were watching. Vikram Kumar Meena is currently undergoing treatment at the Railway Hospital. The Kozhikode railway police registered a case under serious charges on the complaint of TTE.
