Idukki: One seriously injured in wild buffalo attack. The incident took place in Marayur, Idukki. Anthony Muth Thankayya, a native of Mangalampara, was injured. The attack happened at 8.30 last night. When he went to water the plant in Mangalampara, the wild buffalo attacked him.

He was lying there with serious injuries to his leg and waist. Anthony was brought to the hospital by the tribals who were in the vicinity. It is reported that the danger has been overcome. Locals say that wild buffaloes are frequent in this area. The forest department and others have chased wild buffalo into the forest many times before. People want this to be resolved as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, an all-party meeting began in Idukki to discuss human-wildlife conflict. Earlier it was announced that Forest Minister AK Saseendran will attend the meeting. But the Minister will participate online as he was admitted to the hospital yesterday due to illness. Minister Roshy Augustine is directly participating in the meeting.
