A woman died after being hit by a train in Pattambi, Palakkad. Sumathi, a native of Tamil Nadu’s Villupuram, died in Moopannaur temple. The accident happened near Pattambi railway station around 6 am. The West Coast Super Fast Express was hit. The accident happened while crossing the railway tracks to go to work. Pattambi police arrived and shifted the body to Pattambi taluk hospital.
