Ernakulam: A huge fire broke out at Mangalathumana in Ramamangalam. The fire broke out in Mana, which is deeply intertwined with the history of Ramamangalam. This is the brainchild of Panchayat President and High School Founding Manager Mangalath Raman Namboothiri.
The fire broke out at around 8 pm last night. It is reported that there has been heavy damage. Mana is situated near Methipara on the road from Ramamangalam to Uramana.
Lalithambika Antharjan’s famous novel Agnisakshi also mentions Mana. Although renovation work has been done in Mana recently, no one lives there. The fire brigade arrived from Koothattukulam and Piravam and put out the fire.
