Wayanad. A woman was killed in a wild elephant attack in Parappanpara, bordering Malappuram. The deceased is Suresh’s wife Mini of Kattunaika Parappanpara Colony. Suresh was seriously injured.
The incident happened when he went to collect honey in the forest. Mini’s husband Suresh was seriously injured. Forest department officials from Meppadi and Nilambur have returned to the area.
They reached the place after walking a distance of five kilometers. The body will be taken to Nilambur. Protests are intensifying in Wayanad due to continuous wildlife attacks. Meanwhile, another woman has been killed in another attack.
