CISF jawan shoots himself dead at Kolkata airport

Kolkata: A CISF jawan shot himself dead while on duty. A tragic incident took place at the Kolkata airport this morning. Officials said the 25-year-old jawan, a native of Telangana, shot himself with his service rifle on Thursday morning.

They said he was posted outside Gate No. 5 of the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport. Meanwhile, a father and two sons were found dead in Payoli, Kozhikode. Sumesh (42), a native of Ayanikad, was found dead after being hit by a train on the railway track near his house. Sumesh’s children Gopika (15) and Jyothika (12) were found dead inside the house. The preliminary conclusion is that the children died due to ingestion of poison.

Sumesh’s wife had died of covid four years ago. Sumesh was found dead at 8 am today. When the locals reached the house to report Sumesh’s death, it was locked. However, the fan was working inside the house.

Police reached the spot and took further action. After the inquest, the bodies will be taken for post-mortem. The police said that the cause of death of the children will be clear only after the post-mortem. The locals went to Sumesh’s younger brother’s house nearby and reported the information. Then the girls were found dead when they opened the door and checked inside.

Sumesh, who was abroad, did not return after the death of his wife. The locals say that they did not have any financial problems and they do not know what the reason was. Younger sister Jyothika is an 8th standard student.
