Thiruvananthapuram: A fatal accident occurred in Parassala when a biker was struck by a tipper lorry near the Parassala School. The incident was reportedly caused by the lorry’s excessive speed. CCTV footage of the accident has also been released.
The deceased has been identified as Pastor Vijayan of Assemblies of God. The tipper lorry, driving at high speed, attempted to overtake the bike and struck the rider. The rear wheel of the lorry ran over Vijayan’s body after he fell to the ground. He was declared dead at the scene.
