Heavy Snowfall in Himachal Pradesh: Over 1,000 Vehicles Stranded in Manali

Shimla: Intense snowfall in Himachal Pradesh has left over 1,000 vehicles stranded on roads in Manali. Police managed to restore traffic flow after clearing massive snow piles from the roads. A 12-hour-long rescue operation helped free many vehicles, while over 100 are still stuck.

The vehicles, mostly belonging to tourists visiting prominent destinations like Kullu and Manali, were stranded due to heavy snow. The region has seen a surge in tourist numbers during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

Senior officials are monitoring the situation, and police have assured that all tourists are safe. Authorities have urged visitors and locals to remain cautious as snowfall intensifies.
