After Twitter suspension, fashion designers boycott Kangana Ranaut

Actor Kangana Ranaut’s controversial tweet related to the post-election result violence in West Bengal didn’t go down well with the netizens. Twitter permanently suspended her account for violating Twitter guidelines.

Fashion designers Anand Bhushan and Rimzim Dadu decided to delete all his collaborated posts with Kangana Ranaut and has also announced not to collaborate with Queen actress for the future projects. Anand Bhushan took to Twitter to post his statement that said, “In view of certain events today, we have taken a decision to remove all collaboration images with Kangana Ranaut from our social media channels. We also pledge never to be associated with her in any capacity in the future. We as a brand do not support hate speech (sic).” He posted his statement with the caption, “Do the right thing (sic).” Following Bhushan’s footsteps, designer Rimzim Dadu shared a post on her social media and wrote, “Never too late to do the right thing! We are removing all posts of past collaborations from our social channels and pledge to not engage in any future association with her (Kangana).”

Meanwhile, Kangana’s sister and manager, Rangoli Chandel reacted strongly to designer Anand Bhushan’s comment and even questioned his stature in the industry.
