Air India Express cancels services for second consecutive day
A flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Abu Dhabi at 1.10 am, an early morning flight from Kannur to Muscat and a flight from Kannur to Dammam were cancelled. With this, passengers came in protest.

The 10.10 pm flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Dammam was also cancelled. The management of Air India Express informed that the passengers should call and ask if the flight is available before coming to the airport.

Air India services may also be disrupted in the coming days. Company CEO Alok Singh sent an email to employees. Alok Singh informed that the company was forced to impose a restricted schedule. Alok Singh stated that he is ready to discuss with the employees and is trying to overcome the crisis in the coming days.

Air India Express staff members have been on leave all over the country. Flights have been canceled since last night. Kannur and Karipur passengers made noise. There were protests in Thiruvananthapuram as well. Passengers also complained that they did not receive proper notification or infrastructure from the airports. Air India has informed that the ticket money will be refunded to those who could not continue their journey.
