Actress and social worker Jolly Chirayath said that all kinds of security should have been provided for women to enter Sabarimala. The actress said that the case against women who tried to enter Sabarimala shows the degradation of the society.
“Even if the law is passed on the Sabarimala issue, the largest number of women have said that they are ready to wait. This will happen only if we convince this women community too. One of the things that had to be done inside it was to provide security for the women who were willing to board”.
Instead of making security arrangements, there have been cases of girls who unfortunately went to climb. Because it has become so degraded. Faith is politics today. So there are political interests in it. This is not a program to bring us equality and say that women’s bodies are not impure. They opposed it only because CPM was the government.
