The central government will provide all possible assistance and the second team of NDRF will arrive soon, Amit Shah said

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah inquired about the situation in Wayanad landslides. Amit Shah said that the central government will provide all possible help.

Talked to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on phone. NDRF team started rescue operation. Amit Shah also said that the second team of NDRF will arrive soon. He also expressed his condolences to the families of those who died in the landslide. He also said that the injured should be prayed for speedy recovery.

Kerala is reeling from last night’s landslide in Wayanad. Reports are that around 250 people are still trapped in Mundakai. A 5-member team of NDRF reached Mundakai. After hours of rescue operation, more than 70 lives have been lost so far.
