Senior CPIM leader G Sudhakaran left the venue protesting the delay in starting the scheduled program. The incident occurred during the CBC Warrior Commemorative Program which was to be held in Alappuzha this morning. Sudhakaran was angry that the program which was supposed to start at 10 o’clock did not start at eleven o’clock and left the venue.
G. Sudhakaran was invited to present the award at the CBC Warrior Smriti programme. Sudhakaran reached on time as per earlier notification. But despite waiting for a long time, the other invited guests did not arrive. The guest who was supposed to inaugurate arrived after half past ten. Then, when the program started at eleven o’clock, G. Sudhakaran got angry with the organizers and left the stage.
Minister Saji Cheriani, CPIM State Committee Member CB Chandra Babu and Central Committee Member CS Sujatha attended the event.
