Kochi ∙ After 18 years, the CBI has reached the accused in the case of murder of a woman and twins in Anchal, according to indications that the secret leaked from ‘the third’. The accused in the double murder case and former soldiers, Divil Kumar and Rajesh, were arrested from Pondicherry by members of the CBI Chennai unit.
The reason for the murder was that Ranjini, at Rajini’s address in Anchal Alayamon, had asked the accused Dibilkumar to take over the paternity of the children. When Dibilkumar, a native of Anchal Alayamon, refused to take over the paternity of the children, the woman moved forward with legal action.
The move angered Dibil. Rajesh, a friend and soldier from Kannur, and Dibil were returning home together for a vacation. The accused, who had broken into the young woman’s house when it was empty, brutally slit the throats of the young woman and her children.
There is no office balcony where Ranjini’s mother does not go, demanding that her daughter and grandchildren get justice at least after death. That is how the CBI is taking over the investigation. In the context of the same case, the Indian Army also filed a case against the accused, and the army has also started legal proceedings.
