CPM Central Committee Member EP Jayarajan revealed that he is working on his autobiography, which will be completed in chapters, with the first part concluding in December. The remaining sections will be written after December. He confirmed that the book will be published only after obtaining permission from the party.
Regarding the controversy surrounding his autobiography, Jayarajan clarified that it would not carry the title “Parippuvada and Kattanchaaya,” which he claimed was being used by the media to ridicule him. He also assured that there would be no controversy in the book itself.
The autobiography sparked controversy during the by-election day, with sections of the manuscript allegedly criticizing the Left Democratic Front (LDF) and government, leading to debates within the party. Jayarajan rejected the parts of the autobiography that had surfaced, insisting they did not reflect his views. He expressed doubt that the timing of the leak of these sections, especially on polling day, was deliberate.
Uncertainty surrounds the source of the leaked PDF of the autobiography, with continued questions regarding the involvement of journalists and the publication timing. The controversy remains unresolved, with questions about who selected polling day to release these details still unanswered.
