British MP Bob Blackman raised the issue of Hindu persecution in Bangladesh in the British Parliament. He strongly condemned the brutal treatment of Hindus in Bangladesh, including the burning and destruction of their temples and homes.
While the Hindu hunt and destruction of temples continue in Bangladesh, no political party in India, except the BJP, has spoken out against it. While there was a huge outcry in response to the war in Gaza, the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh has been largely overlooked in India and Kerala. The British MP stated that the betrayal of the Krishna movement is unjust, and warned that it would have serious consequences for Bangladesh.
