Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan completely rejected the serious allegations raised by MLA PV Anwar against ADGP MR Ajith Kumar, while defending the officer. The Chief Minister criticized PV Anwar, stating that, as a LDF MLA, he should have brought any complaints to the attention of the party and the Chief Minister.
The Chief Minister mentioned that he had tried to contact Anwar soon after his first press conference. Despite attempts to reach him through the Chief Minister’s Office, Anwar did not respond or take the calls. Even after trying through other means, there was no response. On the second and third days, further attempts to contact him were made, but Anwar only met with the media.
Finally, Anwar met the Chief Minister and spoke for just five minutes. The Chief Minister stated that leaking phone conversations was an action not befitting a public servant. He also pointed out that Anwar lacks a Leftist background and had come from the Congress party. If Anwar continues to make public statements, I will have to respond accordingly, the Chief Minister warned.
