Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has expressed deep sorrow over the death of ADM Naveen Babu, assuring that strong measures will be taken to prevent such incidents from recurring. This marks the Chief Minister’s first public response on the issue. Speaking at the inauguration of the Secretariat Employees Association conference, he stated that the death of Naveen Babu is tragic and emphasized the need to protect those who work with integrity and courage.
Vijayan assured that transfers will now be handled entirely online, based on merit, and reiterated that no one will be allowed to undermine the self-respect of diligent workers. The Chief Minister also hinted that action will be taken against P.P. Divya in connection with the case surrounding Naveen Babu’s death.
