Cliff House renovation Costs Revealed; ₹1.80 Crore Spent in 3 Years

Thiruvananthapuram: The renovation of Cliff House, the official residence of the Chief Minister, has often been in the news. Public Works Department Minister PA Muhammad Riaz has told the Assembly that the figures spent on beautifying the Cliff House during the last year.

1.80 crore was spent on the renovation over three years. The highest amount was spent on the construction of the security guard room, Rs. 98 lakhs. 17 lakhs for installing the lift and 5.65 lakhs for changing the pipeline after the lift was installed. 12 lakhs is the cost of painting the cliff house. 2.95 lakhs was spent to repair the toilet twice.
