A KSRTC bus which was running in Aluva caught fire. The fire broke out in the bonnet of the Swift bus which was going from Angamaly to Thiruvananthapuram. No one was injured in the incident.
Smoke first billowed from the bonnet, then burst into flames. There were 38 passengers in the bus at the time of the incident. As the smoke rose, the driver asked the passengers to get out. That is why a major disaster was avoided. The fire brigade came and extinguished the fire.
