Thiruvananthapuram: The price of cooking gas cylinder has been reduced in the country. The price of commercial cylinder has been reduced by Rs. 1911 per commercial cylinder in Chennai. 31.50 was reduced last month. At the same time, there is no change in the price of domestic cylinders. The price of domestic cylinder was increased by Rs 42 in February and March.
The price of a 19 kg commercial cylinder has been reduced by Rs 19 including in the metro cities of New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai. The revised rate came into effect. As per the new rates from today, commercial cylinders have come down by Rs 19 to Rs 1,745.50 in New Delhi and Rs 1,717.50 in Mumbai from Rs 1,717.50.
The new rate has come into effect in Chennai as well. The current revised rate is Rs 1,911. The revised rate in Kolkata is Rs 1,859. The drop in LPG cylinder prices in the country has come in the context of the drop in global oil prices.
