Thiruvananthapuram: K. Maheshwaran Nair joined the BJP. Rajeev Chandrasekhar Maheshwaran Nair, the Union Minister and BJP candidate from Thiruvananthapuram, was welcomed into the BJP. After Karunakaran’s daughter Padmaja Venugopal, Maheshwaran Nair has also joined the BJP.
Maheshwaran Nair was the former leader of the opposition in Thiruvananthapuram and an executive member of the KPCC. After Padmaja Venugopal and Padmini Thomas, more leaders joining the BJP is becoming a headache for the Congress.
