Alappuzha: A family complained that a dead lizard was found in a white powder bought from Supplyco. The lizard was found in a white powder bought at the house of Gopakumar, a native of Katungal, Vallikunnam. Gopakumar said that a week ago, he had bought white powder, weighing one kg, from Supplyco and the lizard was found dead in it.
Atta was bought from Supplyco’s outlet at Vallikunnam Campissery. The dead lizard was noticed by the family when they opened the packet and put it in the box. Atta was packed in May 2024. It has a expiry date till August 2024.
