Actress Devika Nambiar and singer Vijay Madhav have shared the joyful news of welcoming their second child. Devika gave birth to a baby girl on January 30, as Vijay announced through a video. “Another beautiful moment in our lives—a baby girl!” the couple shared.
Vijay revealed that they had planned everything meticulously, including hospital packing, unboxing, and vlogging the entire experience. However, things didn’t go as expected. They initially thought the admission would be on the 2nd of February, with the due date around the 6th or 7th. But on the night of the 30th, Devika suspected her water had broken, leading to an urgent hospital visit.
“It was an emergency. Things were out of our control. The first delivery was smooth, but this one was different. I was really scared,” Devika shared. However, both mother and baby are now doing well.
Vijay admitted that they were not in a mindset to vlog but wanted to share their happiness with those who cared. “There are many stories to tell, but I prefer to stay positive. Everything is fine now, and we are all happy. The hospital staff treated us like family,” he added.
He also recalled a terrifying moment when Devika was unconscious for a while. “I panicked. I even called people to pray. For a moment, Devika thought she had died. It was a scary experience, but thankfully, all is well now,” Vijay said.
