An elderly woman was found dead in a pond in Alappuzha. Anandavalli was to regularly visit the Pathiyur temple in the morning. On Thursday morning, around 8 o’clock, she left home to visit the temple.
But he did not come back even after twelve o’clock in the afternoon. Later, while investigating, a neighbor came to know that someone was lying in the pool. Then, when his son and relatives came and checked, Anandavalli was found unconscious.
The pond where the body was lying is about fifty meters away from the house. They were immediately taken to Kayamkulam Taluk Hospital, but she died. The pond is filled with water during the rains. It is indicated that she may have slipped while going through this. The body is kept in the Kayamkulam hospital.
