Fire breaks out at Prabhas’s Adipurush set in Mumbai, no casualties

A major fire broke out at the sets of Saif Ali Khan and Prabhas-starrer Adipurush in Mumbai on Tuesday. The fire broke out at Goregaon at around 4:10 pm, as per reports. The actors were not present on sets at the time of the incident and there have been no injuries reported so far.

The magnum opus stars Saif Ali Khan, Prabhas in leads and is directed by Om Raut. According to a tweet by ANI, the blaze broke out during the afternoon hours. The two actors were not present when the incident took place and nobody was reported injured. As soon as the fire incident was reported, as many as eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Reports inform that the studio is located near the Inorbit Mall in the city. Fire brigade officials declared it to be a ‘level two’ fire which is considered as major. Adipurush, an adaptation of the epic Ramayana, went on floors on February 2. Prabhas announced the same on social media sharing the logo of the film. Bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, CMD of T-Series, Adipurush will star actor Saif Ali Khan as the demon king Ravana. Prabhas plays the role of Lord Rama in the film. Adipurush will hit the screens on August 11, 2022. Prabhas had announced the release date of the film on Instagram in November 2020.
