Kozhikode: Forest Minister AK Saseendran has given instructions to shoot the wild buffalo that attacked the farmer. The Minister said that he was undergoing treatment in the hospital and that is why he could not reach the spot.
The minister said that a senior official of the forest department will reach the incident site and the surveillance will be intensified. Steps will be taken to protect people’s lives. It has been instructed to give the relief money within 48 hours.
The minister also stated that the natives demand for a permanent monitoring system is reasonable. He said that instructions have been given to the Collector to strengthen surveillance.
