Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram has said that foreign players tell him that the bowling level of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is better than the Indian Premier League (IPL). Akram said that these are foreign players who play in leagues of both countries. Akram, along with his former teammate Basit Ali, said on a YouTube channel that I have been part of the PSL for five years and when I asked foreign players the difference between the two leagues, they always say that the bowling level in the PSL is excellent.

He said that in the IPL you will find one such bowler in every team who can be attacked as a batsman. But according to foreign players, bowling level in PSL is much higher than in IPL. The former captain also said that it is not right to compare PSL to IPL. While PSL has recently finished its fifth season, the IPL has been happening for the last 11-12 years. There is a lot of money in IPL.

Talking about Wasim Akram, he has coached Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL. Apart from this, he has been the coach of Islamabad United, Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings in Pakistan Super League. While Wasim Akram described the bowling level of IPL as weaker than PSL, he also said that the batting level of IPL is much better than that of PSL.
