Test cricket is generally considered to be a very quiet format but Sehwag made it completely different from his style there. Sehwag has earned a lot of name in world cricket due to his style, as well as setting many records which are not easy for anyone to break. Former India batsman VVS Laxman has also praised him for his achievement.

Laxman has said that Sehwag has established himself as a dangerous opener in front of quality fast bowling.

Let us know that Sehwag is the second such batsman in the world who has scored a double century in ODIs after Sachin. Sehwag had scored 219 runs in the year 2011 against the West Indies. This is the highest ODI score by an Indian batsman since opener Rohit Sharma’s 264 runs in 2014. Apart from this, he is the first batsman to score two triple centuries for India in Test cricket and his record remains till date.
