Kochi: The funeral of a POCSO survivor who was killed in Chottanikkara, Ernakulam, will be held today. The girl died at a private hospital in Kochi after being brutally attacked by her boyfriend.
The body will be taken to Kalamassery Medical College after the inquest proceedings are completed from a private hospital in Kochi. The body will be handed over to the relatives after the postmortem. After the public viewing at the house, the funeral will be held at the Martha Mariam Church in Thrippunithura.
Anoop has been charged with attempted murder and rape. In the wake of the girl’s death, a murder charge will be filed againstthe accused a report will be submitted to the court.
