The government has decided not to regulate electricity in the state for the time being. The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Minister of electricity of kerala K Krishnankutty. KSEB is of the view that load shedding is required in the context of rising electricity consumption. The government told KSEB to look for ways other than load shedding. The high-level meeting chaired by the Power Minister has concluded.
