Heat Wave Alert in Kerala; Three districts to experience high temperatures

Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department says that the temperature will increase further in the state. There is a heat wave warning in three districts. The Central Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave warning in Kollam, Thrissur and Palakkad districts. These districts recorded extreme heat for consecutive days.

Palakkad recorded record heat last day. This confirmed the heat wave. A temperature of 41.4 degrees Celsius was recorded. A heat wave is a situation that calls for extreme caution. Public and non-governmental organizations should exercise due diligence. There is a high risk of sunstroke and sunburn.

This can even lead to death. A yellow alert has been issued for high temperature in 12 districts of the state. Kollam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Kozhikode, Kannur, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Malappuram, Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram districts are on yellow alert till the 30th of this month.
