Today, the yellow alert is in place for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, and Kozhikode districts. On Sunday, the alert will cover Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Thrissur, and Palakkad districts. Rainfall is expected to range from 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm within 24 hours.
