Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Center has predicted that heavy rain will continue in the state. Red alert has been announced in four districts today. Red alert has been declared in Pathanamthitta, Idukki, Alappuzha and Kottayam districts. According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds with speed of 40 km per hour are also possible.

The Collector instructed the people living in the low-lying areas and the hilly areas to be cautious and those in the danger-prone areas to stay away. The Meteorological Department has warned that there is a possibility of landslides and landslides. Due to yesterday’s rain, the roads in various parts of Thiruvananthapuram became waterlogged.
