High Temperature Warning Issued for the State Today and Tomorrow

Thiruvananthapuram: A high-temperature warning has been issued for the state. On February 28 and March 1, 2025, Kannur district is expected to record a maximum temperature of up to 39°C, while Kasaragod district may experience temperatures up to 38°C.

In Kottayam, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Thrissur, Palakkad, Ernakulam, and Pathanamthitta districts, temperatures may rise to 37°C, whereas Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Alappuzha districts may see temperatures reaching up to 36°C. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that temperatures in these regions could be 2-4°C higher than usual.

Meanwhile, the IMD has also predicted rainfall over the next five days, issuing a yellow alert for Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, and Pathanamthitta districts.
