The police have issued a lookout notice against Sukant, a friend who is accused of being responsible for the death of Megha, an IB officer at Thiruvananthapuram airport.
It is alleged that Sukant, a resident of Edappal, was the one who drove the young woman to suicide. The police have not yet been able to locate the absconding Sukant. The notice was issued to prevent Sukant from leaving the country.
The woman’s father had handed over some evidence to the investigating officers yesterday. The family had also raised a complaint, alleging that the young man from Malappuram had sexually exploited the IB officer. The woman was found dead near the Petta Railway overbridge on March 24.
