Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in the districts of Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Idukki, Kozhikode, and Wayanad from Wednesday, November 14, for the next three days.
On November 14, the yellow alert is in effect for Pathanamthitta, Ernakulam, Idukki, Palakkad, Kozhikode, and Wayanad. On November 15, the same districts will continue to experience the alert. The forecast predicts isolated heavy rainfall.
There is a possibility of rainfall ranging from 64.5 millimeters to 115.5 millimeters within 24 hours. The IMD has also warned of the likelihood of thunderstorms with rain in isolated areas between November 13 and 15.
